We are committed to supporting our members in sustainability and corporate responsibility, with a particular focus on sustainability reporting.
A key element of reporting is the materiality analysis. It helps companies identify the most relevant environmental, social, and economic issues that contribute to long-term value creation and business success. While a strategic core instrument for sustainability management, it also presents a challenge: high effort and uncertainty in implementation often make it difficult for companies to complete effectively.
To best prepare our members for these requirements, HKI has developed a sector-specific materiality analysis in collaboration with the experienced sustainability agency Sustainable Natives, which has successfully carried out similar projects for other associations.
This approach provides members with decisive advantages:
- Efficiency: Instead of creating an individual analysis from scratch, members benefit from industry synergies and receive robust results based on collective expertise.
- Sector-specific relevance: The shared results reflect the unique challenges and opportunities of our industry.
- Clear added value: Members receive a practical tool that serves as a foundation and guide for their own materiality analysis, whether starting from scratch or validating existing assessments.
HKI makes sustainability reporting simpler, more focused, and future-proof, allowing companies to concentrate on what really matters.
