The sub-departments form the technical foundation of HKI’s work. They bring together companies with comparable products, technologies and regulatory frameworks, enabling product-specific issues to be addressed in a focused manner and with a high level of technical expertise.

Members can contribute topics and technical priorities to the work of their respective sub-department. Key areas include technical developments, legal requirements, standardisation activities, general market developments and product-specific statistics. Where necessary, additional specialist groups or working groups are established to examine individual topics in greater depth.

At the same time, the HKI office provides information on current developments and assesses their relevance for the respective product group. The results of this technical work can feed into political advocacy, standardisation activities, public relations and the association’s services.

By actively participating, you contribute your company’s technical perspective and help ensure that key industry issues are addressed in a well-founded and practical manner.
