The European standards series EN 30 "Domestic cooking appliances burning gaseous fuels" regulates the safety requirements of domestic gas cooking appliances. As the sponsor of the external DIN standards committee "Heating, Cooking and Warming Appliances" (FNH), the HKI and its members are actively involved in the standardisation work and can inform their members at an early stage about amendments, new publications and upcoming revisions.
In particular, the HKI has initiated an international standardisation project in the field of domestic gas cooking appliances. The aim of this standardisation project is to reduce the certification effort for manufacturers by means of an internationally valid standard.
