As a rule, every electrically operated device generates electromagnetic fields through the power connection. These can impair the function of other devices. The directive is intended to ensure that equipment has an appropriate level of electromagnetic compatibility in order to exclude mutual interference and thus prevent the occurrence of hazardous conditions. Compliance with this directive allows for CE marking. Radio equipment or wireless network connections do not fall within the scope of this Directive 2014/30/EU.
