Safety is always a relevant aspect of machinery/equipment. Corresponding European directives/regulations contain safety-relevant specifications with which accident risks (e.g. mechanical, electrical, explosion, radiation or thermal) are minimised. Depending on the type of machinery/equipment, different directives/regulations must be complied with. It may also be the case that, depending on the product, several directives/regulations may apply. Otherwise, the machines/devices may not be placed on the market in Europe. By affixing the CE marking, it is demonstrated that all relevant specifications are complied with.
